Tea Party Update
Hey Gang,
Well we are moving right along and our membership is growing, I get alot of emails daily from people saying they will be they, and many have not joined the network yet.
I really need some help getting the flyers out. I figure its best if everyone just prints off their own, that way no one person is burdened with the cost of printing all of them.
Here are the links to some flyers that anyone can print out and distribute, staple them on telephone poles, drop off at biz's (small flyers), drop of "Tea Cards" at biz that you frequent, restaurants, dry cleaners, stores, etc.. these are not the flyers that we will pass out at the event, these are flyers for you to get the word out.

I am still working on the actual event flyer and want to have that printed by American Printing he'll do 5000 for $150.00 and maybe I could get him to do say 2000 for $75.00 but I have to come up with the money one way or another, maybe everyone could pitch in like $5 bucks, I hate asking but my money tree dried up with the economy. LOL.
I will be on WFOY 1240 AM Morning Show sometime next week, I'll let you guys know when.
Still looking for speakers, just hard to find people that aren't already committed to larger cities.
Does anyone know any retired vets, or retired representatives that would be interested in speaking?
Patti had a good idea about contact the people that do the re-enactments and I did and one of the heads is going to bring it up at their meeting next week and let me know.
I also contacted the Super of Elect and they are going to have someone there to register people to vote as well.
Still looking for Music, right now its starting to look like a big boom box is going to supply the Music, does anyone have a band or know of anyone with a band, the only kicker is we won't have any power there so they will have to bring their own power.
We should probably get a small stage so if anyone has access to that please let me know. I don't want to post my phone # here but if anyone wants to call me just email me and I'll send it to you so you can call me at your convenience.
Had another conference call last nite with over 80 organizers nationwide and some big voices like FreedomWorks, Smart Girl Politics, American Solutions, Citizens Against Government Waste, Tea Party Coalition, Pajamas Media, Americans for Limited Government , The Don't Go Movement and Conservative Republic.
This thing is HUGE guys and you'd never know it by listening or watching the lame stream media!!
I don't know about you guys but I'm old enough to remember the Bay City Rollers and they are going to be playing at the Protest in Orange County, CA.
How do you guys feel about a group meeting say one evening next week in front of fort, we can all bring blankets and lawn chairs and put our heads together and see where we're at, email me let me know.
Patti is working on Radio Stations and Tv Stations. We need to call all the Vet groups and see if we can fax them a flyer to put on their bulletin board, who's up for the challenge.
Whenever you go out and post flyers just write a note in the Post Flyers discussion that I am going to create and let us know where you went so no-one doubles up in the same area, less wasted energy right?
So how many of you guys are going to get up and speak at the event? We need to know we need to come up with a "Program Schedule".
This is my SOS for help...........Talk to me gang, I need help, I need input, lets do this!!

Oh, almost forgot, We need tables I am waiting to hear from a couple of hotels I use to work with to borrow some meeting tables, but it doesn't look good so far, so we need tables.

Churches is a good idea, thanx, I'll let everyone know on monday about the monies for printing I'm waiting to hear back from the printer about how he wants the money and if he needs it all up front.

check into the churches for tables...they may let you use them for free. Let me know about where to send the $5.00 I'll let you know if I can help out with anything else after monday.
